"What do we live for if not to make life less difficult for each other?" George Eliot
We spend a great deal of our lives searching for meaning. Finding our calling. Discovering our purpose. While these are all good questions we ask of our universe or our God, I have started to think we don't listen to the answers we get.
Like the smart humans that we are, we over complicate what our purpose needs to look like. I fully believe that each of us has a grand purpose in life. Grand, but not complicated. I believe we are walking around with all the information we need to realize this purpose. But we're overlooking it ~ or worse, seeing it as an obstacle on our path to becoming who we're meant to be.
It's time to stop being so hard on ourselves and make room for the possibility that we're complete, unbroken and just need to embrace our messy, beautiful story as the path to our greatest fulfillment.
